The second take on Hellsing in anime form boasts a complete, fully functional plot taken from the manga. In other words, if you want things to get the Hellsing plot cleared up, you can take a look at Hellsing Ultimate. It also has a lot of blood, simply exorbitant amounts of blood, so please be careful if you do not like that and expect all vampires to turn to dust like in the first series.
Blade
Want more vampires? There was that time when Marvel turned some of its most famous properties into anime. Blade might be a good opportunity to take a look at the famous Marvel hero in Japan, hunting the vampire that killed his mother while also dealing with an evil vampire organization. It is packed with action more than horror, but it is about killing vampires, so it is quite similar to the main premise of Hellsing.
Want even MORE vampires? For a less Marvel-ous take on them, one that delves deep into the horror behind the idea rather than action, check out Shiki. In it, a small town is plagued by deaths and murder, as the main characters slowly unravel the mystery of shiki, corpse demons.
Do you like the part of Hellsing where the evil was being extinguished? Claymore involves exterminating demons that like human flesh. The people who exterminate those demons are not quite human themselves. There is some mystery and a lot of action.
Kuroshitsuji
If you like mystery, horror, and do not mind a flimsy plot but would love some nice music, Kuroshitsuji is for you. Just like Hellsing it gets away from the manga to deliver a dramatic story of young earl Ciel Phantomhive and his diabolically good butler Sebastian. The similarities between the two series are staggering (they even both have comedic interludes), but the feel of them is remarkably different. Hellsing is more modern, and Kuroshitsuji is clearly a historic drama with completely different themes.
