How we source, review, correct and publish everything on Letsweaboo.com.

Letsweaboo.com covers anime, manga and Japanese pop culture for a global English-speaking audience. These standards explain how we work — what we publish, how we check it, and how you can hold us accountable.

On this page

1. Who writes for us

Every article on Letsweaboo.com is written by a real, named member of our team. Author profiles list what each writer covers and everything they have published for us. See our Editorial Team. We do not publish anonymous or fabricated bylines.

2. Sourcing and accuracy

We base reporting on primary and verifiable sources wherever possible:

  • Official announcements from studios, publishers and streaming platforms
  • Manga publishers' official release schedules and chapter listings
  • Verified social accounts of studios, creators and voice actors
  • Official streaming-service catalogues, for "where to watch" guides

When we cite another outlet's reporting, we link to it and credit it in the copy. Anime and manga coverage relies heavily on fast-moving fan discussion; we clearly separate confirmed information (official announcements, published chapters, aired episodes) from fan theories, rumour and speculation, and we label the latter as such.

3. Rankings and opinion pieces

Ranked lists ("top 10", "strongest characters") and hot-take pieces reflect the judgement of the named author, based on the source material (aired episodes, published manga chapters) available at the time of writing. We do not present ranked opinion as verified fact, and we update or note when new material changes the picture (for example, a new season or chapter arc).

4. Spoilers

Articles that reveal manga chapter events or unaired anime plot points are marked as containing spoilers in the headline or before the spoiler section starts.

5. Corrections

We correct mistakes promptly and openly.

  • Report an error: email [email protected] with the article URL and the nature of the mistake.
  • Minor typos and formatting issues are corrected silently.
  • Factual corrections (wrong episode count, incorrect release date, misattributed studio, etc.) are logged on the article with a dated note.
  • We do not delete published articles to hide errors.

6. Independence and advertising

Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial and advertising relationships. Sponsored content and paid partnerships, where they exist, are clearly labelled. No advertiser has approval over what we publish, and we do not accept payment in exchange for coverage.

7. Use of AI

We may use AI tools for research assistance, translation checks or draft summarisation. Every article is written or edited and fact-checked by a human member of our editorial team who is responsible for its content. We do not publish unreviewed AI-generated text, and we do not use AI to fabricate quotes, sources or plot details.

We credit the source of every image — studio, publisher or platform — wherever known. Use of stills and key visuals is covered by our DMCA / Copyright page, including the process for rights-holders to request review of a specific image.

9. Contact and complaints

Editorial complaints and corrections: [email protected]. Full contact details are on our Contact page.
