1. Delico's Nursery, 2024-...
Modern vampire society is in chaos: a serial killer threatens the population, leaving clues with the name of the legendary progenitor. The vampires must find the killer and uncover an anti-vampire conspiracy.
At the same time, they must solve the mystery of immortality, which used to be the prerogative of all vampires without exception, but now everything has changed.
The atmosphere of the anime is a mix of Black Butler and The Promised Neverland. It is the story of children and single fathers who combine parenthood with work in a detective agency.
2. Undead Murder Farce, 2023
Tsugaru Shinuchi is a cynical and sarcastic half-demon. His partner Aya Rindo is a talking severed head. Both are trying to find something of their own: Aya – stolen body, Shinuchi – humanity.
And they are united by their love for black humor and their personal servant Shizuku Hasei. The three travel through Europe, investigating murders and crimes involving evil spirits.
Undead Murder Farce creates an unusual picture of the world in which the supernatural and the ordinary mix. And also Sherlock Holmes and Moriarty, Jack the Ripper, Watson and Arsène Lupin. Anyone who is not afraid of experiments and wants to watch a stylish detective story in the Victorian era is invited.
3. Trinity Blood, 2005
The war between humans and vampires is called Armageddon. It has no end: between representatives of two states, the Vatican and the New Human Empire, the feud continues even in the post-apocalyptic 31st century.
Abel Nightroad tries to keep the peace. He is an agent of the Vatican and a priest with an oath of non-violence who feeds on the blood of other vampires. Through a chain of conflicts and intrigues, Abel finds himself at the center of events that could ignite a new Armageddon.
4. Tokimeki Tonight, 1982-1983
Ranze Eto is a vampire who can turn into anything she bites. The process of reversing the transformation is simple: just sneeze. Unlike her vampire father and werewolf mother, Ranze is no different from a human and dreams of living an average teenage life.
The series has good old-fashioned romance components: a charming retro style, a lively and bright main character, a love story with a bad guy, a yakuza daughter as a rival and, of course, a dash of drama.
5. Blood Lad, 2013
The main character Staz is a respected vampire. But he doesn't drink blood at all, and he is interested in humans for a completely different reason – because of anime.
Anything that has to do with otaku culture brings Staz indescribable joy. Therefore, he has not left his domain for a long time, leaving the management to his subordinates.
But one day, an ordinary girl enters his world through a portal. Before the main character can rejoice enough, the poor girl is eaten by a giant flower – which means he now has a mission. Accompanied by a new acquaintance in the form of a ghost, Staz goes in search of magic that can resurrect her.
