As you may understand from the name, fallen heroes are characters that used to be on the good side of the story, but something went wrong with them along the way.
These are the types of villains that were not born evil, their life and choices have made them this way.
6. Lady Nagant, My Hero Academia
Lady Nagant used to be a Pro Hero, known for her extraordinary skills. She worked for the Safety Commision and her job was to assassinate those who were deemed a threat to society. However, the guilt that followed her assignments started to consume her and make her question her actions, which led to the character joining the league of villains.
5. Sasuke, Naruto
Sasuke's desire for revenge has become the turning point of this character's transition. Upon learning the truth about the massacre of his entire clan and his brother's true intentions, he is filled with even more hatred and anger and decides to destroy an entire village.
4. Griffith, Berserk
Griffith is initially portrayed as a charismatic and determined character, with a strong desire for power and glory. However, this ambition leads him down a dark path. Griffith's desire to have his own kingdom forces the character to betray his own comrades and sacrifice them. He becomes a demonic being known as Femto, driven solely by his grandiose dream.
3. Light, Death Note
While initially wishing to create a better world void of criminality and unfairness, Light loses all the remnants of morality he's ever had along the way. The power of the death note impacts him immensely and turns him into a merciless killer. Light gets more and more selfish and smug along the way, dreaming of becoming the god of the new world he's trying to create.

While originally being a jujutsu student and a classmate and friend of Gojo, this sorcerer was not meant to stay on the good side forever. Geto's life and experiences forced him to develop strong hatred towards non-sorcerers and turn to the dark side. His goal is to create a new world order and he joins the cursed spirits for the sake of this.

We may argue about whether Eren might be considered a villain or not for another eternity, but the fact remains, he committed genocide and killed thousands of civilians, including women and kids. His desire to save his friends and achieve freedom has led him to commit hideous actions that cannot be forgotten.
