There are many interesting characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. However, many of them are not developed properly. Even Nobara, who was supposed to be the main character, has suffered from a lack of screen time.
The plot and world of Jujutsu Kaisen were greatly influenced by these underrated characters. Here are 6 characters that fans feel definitely deserve more.
Riko Amanai
Riko appeared in the Hidden Inventory Arc and left the story very quickly. According to the plot, Riko was a vessel of Tengen and was supposed to merge with his spirit after Gojo and Geto delivered her to the destination.
However, she dies and it has a strong effect on the sorcerers and plays a role in Geto's transition to the dark side. In a deeper sense, Riko changed the entire world of Jujutsu Kaisen, as merging with Tengen is a special procedure that preserves the balance.
Suguru Geto
Another such character was Geto — he played a large role in Gojo's fate, and the aftermath of his death continues to affect the plot. In fact, he only appeared in the feature film and was the main villain there and in an arc devoted to Gojo's past.
He's a very charismatic character, much better-looking than some of the villains in Jujutsu Kaisen, and he definitely deserves more screen time.
Toji Fushiguro
Toji was the main villain in the Hidden Inventory arc — he killed Riko Amanai and died at Gojo's hands. Toji was also a very bad father to Megumi, who didn't care much for his son and never showed him any love.
However, his most interesting trait is his inability to use the cursed technique. With the exception of Maki he is the only representative of such sorcerers, which makes him even more important.
Aoi Todo
Todo is a very funny and widely loved character among fans. He is the strongest sorcerer among the students of Kyoto School and stands out for his brutal, intimidating appearance, sharp temper and unexpected hobby (love for idols).
Although Todo is liked by many viewers and his appearance in the anime becomes an entire show, the sorcerer doesn't get much screen time. Although his connection to Yuji is strong and it is a potential opportunity.
Yuki Tsukumo
Yuki is very similar in character to Todo and is his teacher. Yuki is also connected to the generation of sorcerers that included Gojo and Geto. To the disappointment of many fans, the girl only appears for a few minutes in the Season 2 finale and in the Hidden Inventory Arc.
These moments were very striking and memorable, largely due to the girl's bold character. Some viewers even wanted Yuki to take away screen time from the hated Mei Mei.
Junpei Yoshino
When Junpei appeared in the story, it seemed like he would be with us for a long time, but the boy is killed by Mahito quite quickly.
Junpei has an interesting personality (sometimes reminiscent of Yuta) and a tragic backstory that makes you care even more about the character. Junpei could become an entertaining sorcerer and another loyal friend for Yuji.
