The brave knight Laios and his guild are defeated by a red dragon in the depths of a dungeon. Not only does it spoil the adventurers, but it also eats Laios' sister, the healer mage Falin.
Waking up in the village, Laios decides to return to the dungeon to save his sister from the dragon's belly – and defeat the mad mage at the same time. However, there is a catch: the path is not short and there is no money for provisions, so the heroes will have to make do with cooking monsters.
In this perilous adventure, Laios is aided by the elven sorceress Marcille, the halfling burglar Chilchuck, and the dwarf Senshi – a brave warrior and a true culinary guru.

In Delicious in Dungeon, the monotonous journey from point A to point B is diluted with all sorts of adventures. The characters encounter dungeon dwellers in trouble, or monsters that require a clear plan and coordinated effort to defeat.
The series has a great "villain of the week" formula: it's not just a filler skirmish, but an obstacle that tempers the team members and reveals a new side of their personalities. Along the way, the heroes will encounter a settlement of underground orcs, charming and extremely deadly sirens, living armor, and, of course, a giant red dragon.
You will fall in love with this motley crew of adventurers at first sight. The chemistry between the characters develops playfully and easily. Behind seemingly simple images that can be described in a few words are well-developed personalities – with their own strengths and weaknesses.
Another full-fledged character in anime is, of course, food, which gets a lot of attention. Food in the series unites, helps to solve conflicts and moves the plot forward. And it also plays with typical fantasy clichés – for example, mana restoration.
