Tadaima, Okaeri is an upcoming BL and slice of life anime series. It’s based on a manga of the same name written by Ichi Ichikawa. The series began back in 2015 in the Omegaverse Project anthology magazine.
What is Tadaima, Okaeri about?
The story revolves around a small family of two fathers, Masaki and Hiromu, and their son, Hikari. Masaki is a stay-at-home dad, who’s been struggling with feeling like a burden to his husband due to him being an omega. After the birth of their son, the family moves to a different area. All three of them are trying to get used to the new surroundings, while creating bonds with those around them. However, they had to leave a couple of people behind to achieve this domesticity, and when the said people start coming back into their lives, they can’t help but feel unsure about their true intentions.
An official website was launched for the premiere of Tadaima, Okaeri, and it provides some news about the project. Shinji Ishihira (Sasaki to Miyano) is going to direct the anime, studio Deen is animating the show, Yoshiko Nakamura (Super Lovers) will be responsible for the series composition, and Mina Oosawa (Given) will work on character design.
