Heaven Official’s Blessing explores the story of Xie Lian and Hua Cheng. Xie Lian used to be a powerful god, but now he’s someone to laugh at with no followers behind him. After being banished to the mortal world (again!), he ascends to the heavenly realm for the third time. Now Xie Lian has a new task, during which he meets a mystical stranger who expresses strong interest in the thrice ascended god only to later learn that this stranger is no one else but Hua Cheng, a powerful Ghost King, feared by many.
The first season of Heaven Official’s Blessing received positive reviews and a pretty big fanbase. Its engaging story and intriguing characters never fail to amaze the audience and make them feel truly invested in the plot.
The curious premise is not the only thing that’s made this story so dear to the fans. The art style alone makes you want to check this series out. The character design is so stunning, that you sometimes forget that you have to actually listen to what the characters are saying, and not just stare at their gorgeous hair.

The hype is real, and fans can’t wait to experience the entire season. They have only four episodes for now, but more are coming each week. The ratings seem to be even higher than the ones of the first season, and fans cannot stop admiring the beauty of the series, and saying how much they’ve missed Xie Lian and Hua Cheng.
Since Chinese donghua is not as popular as Japanese anime, the issue of watching the series appears quite often.
