Indeed, most Crimson’s plans are foiled by Ragna in one way or another. First, Crimson tells him not to start any battles, but Ragna meets Ultimatia, and the battle just happens. Then, Crimson takes Ragna into his secret dimension, but Ragna uses his silverine aura and destroys the dimensions entirely. Every time that happens, Crimson panics and gives over-the-top monologues, so fans enjoy those moments. However, they also wonder, how much longer can Crimson tolerate Ragna?
Crimson’s Poison
Some might have forgotten about it, but in Episode 2, Crimson gave Ragna a poison, which would only work if Ragna betrayed Crimson. It’s no surprise that attacking Ultimatia wasn’t considered a betrayal. After all, Ragna almost succeeded, and Crimson, after panicking for a bit, helped Ragna in the hopes of defeating Ultimatia. But how is destroying Crimson’s dimension not a betrayal?
It’s not clear how the poison works, or if it works at all. In fact, Crimson could have easily fooled Ragna instead of giving him actual poison. But Crimson constantly gets in trouble because of Ragna, and it’s strange that he is not reconsidering their relationship. He probably should, given what they have both been through.
Their Differences
Crimson seems to like strategies and plans, and he suffers minor breakdowns every time his plans are foiled. He is capable of bouncing back, but his breakdowns amuse fans very much. Ragna doesn’t care much about plans, although he did cooperate in the fight against Disas. Are they compatible? Only time will tell.
Are Crimson and Ragna a good team?
