The characters in Delicious in Dungeon are half the charm of the title — there aren't that many of them, but they complement each other nicely and fit the story well. The audience immediately liked the elf Marcille because of her cute but slightly explosive personality.
Laios and Chilchuck are certainly less popular, but they also have quite a few admirers. Senshi is less attractive than the other characters, but he is still a full-fledged member of the group who is revealed more and more with each new episode.
Outwardly unremarkable dwarf
There are many races in the fantasy world of Delicious in Dungeon — elves, humans, dwarves, orcs. Senshi is a dwarf representative. He has a characteristically small stature and dense build. Senshi does not appear immediately, but only after the heroes of the Laios party re-enter the dungeon.
The dwarf is a good cook who understands the ins and outs of monster cooking — he helps the heroes cook the mushroom they caught after they decided to consume the creatures.
Unlike the other members of the Laios group, Senshi doesn't stand out much. At first, he isn't even seen as an important character, but gradually Senshi becomes a full-fledged member of the team with his own characteristics and traits.
For example, Senshi is not very fond of magic and has arguments with Marcille. Senshi spends most of his time cooking — he is the vehicle for the enjoyable idea behind Delicious in Dungeon.
Deep Philosophy
Although Senshi wasn't very expressive at the beginning of the series, he is gradually revealed more and more. Episode 4 delighted viewers with interesting details about the lore of Delicious in Dungeon — the confrontation between humans and orcs, as well as life in the dungeon. However, the most interesting part of the episode was the Senshi reveal.
Dwarf has been maintaining the ecosystem in the dungeon for years —taking care of the golems and using them to grow vegetables. Senshi uses bio-waste from the toilets in the dungeons to keep the soil from which the golems are made fertile.
Of course, the main reason for this is to get new ingredients (Senshi is a huge cooking enthusiast), but there is another very worthy goal. Senshi makes sure that the golems are kept safe so they can protect the floors where humans live from the invasion of more dangerous monsters.
