Shaman King: Flowers comes out on January 10, 2024, and PVs are coming out to hype future viewers up.

The team of Shaman King: Flowers is mostly the people who worked on 2021 Shaman King.
Shaman King
Shaman King is a franchise based on a manga by Hiroyuki Takei. It features anime, games, and spin-offs. Shaman King follows two friends Manta and Yoh, as Yoh tries to become a Shaman King by participating in the Shaman Fight. Shaman King: Flowers is a spin-off or sequel, in which the main character is Hana, Yoh’s son.
If you want to prepare for January 10, 2024, when Shaman King: Flowers will premiere, you might want to watch the 2021 anime and not the 2001 anime. After all, the original series was airing before the manga was finished, so its content is different from what the manga actually is about. That said, a lot of fans love the original anime more than the 2021 one, and the 2021 anime is widely considered a failure.
Well, at the very least, you can always pick up the manga.
New PV
The new PV shows off the future anime’s animation, which fans appreciate. It is not the smoothest, but it captures the style of Shaman King and makes us nostalgic about the original series. That is a little strange because the main staff returned after working on the 2021 series. That includes director Jouji Furuta (One Punch Man Season 2, Dragon Ball Super) and sound director Masafumi Mima (Pluto), art director Jinya Kimura (who has only worked on Shaman King), as well as Yuuki Hayashi (Junji Ito Maniac), who is responsible for music.
Of course, there are new people engaged as well, such as character designer Mayuko Yamamoto (Saikyo Kamizmode!), but the majority of the team has already worked on the 2021 animation of Shaman King. The same can be said about voice actors; if a character appears in both Shaman King and Shaman King: Flowers, they are most likely voiced by the same actors.
We are not sure if it’s a good or a bad thing. Most likely, the continuity is good for the quality of production, but fans did not appreciate the 2021 version of the anime, and it is reasonable to worry that this spin-off/sequel might not live up to expectations due to using the same team.
However, the PV suggests that the animation is quite alright. We need more shots of actual battles to be certain, but for now, the PV looks good. While fans are still cautious after the previous adaptation, they do like the PV and are looking forward to what the team creates next. Let’s hope that Shaman King: Flowers turns out better than its prequel.
