Spy X Family Code: White Aired in Japan. First Impressions Are Promising

It’s finally out!

Summary:

  • Spy x Family Code: White aired in Japan on December 22.
  • The ending theme along with a new trailer has been released.
  • Those who have had the chance to see the movie are satisfied with it.

We’ve been waiting for it for a long time. And this waiting has been filled with various predictions, speculations and expectations. But the wait is finally over, and you can already watch Spy x Family Code: White on a big screen. So if you’re among the lucky ones who live in Japan, it’s time for you to buy your cinema snacks and experience a new adventure of the Forgers.

A new teaser is here

A small teaser has been revealed to celebrate the premiere of the movie, and it’s everything we love Spy x Family for: action, danger, adventure, humor, and, most importantly, cute and wholesome family moments.

Loid is standing on one knee before Yor in one of the scenes, and while the fangirling side of us wants to scream “proposal” at this sight, there’s also a rational part that doesn’t think this is what’s happening in the movie. Loid does say that he’ll never break his promise to Yor, though, and that just has to be enough for now.

The teaser ends with the most beautiful moment ever, and this is Loid, Yor and Anya walking together hand in hand. It looks like a scene taken from a slice-of-life family anime, and that’s just adorable.

Ending theme is released

Along with the teaser, the ending theme by Gen Hoshino for the movie has been released, and it’s filled with endearing moments. The music is so relaxing and wholesome that you just want to cozy up on your sofa with a mug of hot tea and listen to it while watching your favorite Spy x Family moments. And how adorable is the scene with Yor covering Anya with a blanket? Who’s cutting onions here, anyway?

First impressions

The luckiest of fans have already had the opportunity to watch Code: White and you can see a couple of “I watched the movie today” here and there on various social media. These few people are mostly positive about the movie, saying that they truly loved it and praising the quality. Which gives us a lot of hope, of course!

Code: White is airing only in Japan right now, but we’re confident that other countries will receive the opportunity to experience the movie soon, too. Bets are on somewhere at the beginning of 2024. Fans say that the English subtitles are not available at movie theaters, so if you’re in Japan now, it’s time you learned a couple of words.
