Mia mostly fails her way into success, but she often shows that she has the wisdom of a ruler. Let’s take a look at a few examples.
Tearmoon Empire (Tearmoon Teikoku Monogatari: Dantoudai kara Hajimaru, Hime no Tensei Gyakuten Story) spoilers ahead!
Summary
Mia’s successes are mostly the result of incredible luck and misunderstandings.
She still shows positive qualities, including wisdom.
Some examples of Mia’s wisdom are her conversations with Abel and the wheat plan she came up with in Ep.7.
Mia Luna Tearmoon
Tearmoon Empire is a comedy, and the main character, Mia, has many comedic moments. Fans comment that her luck is unbelievable; almost every situation turns out in her favor. Through misunderstandings and due to her reputation as a Sage, she generally fails right into success. However, it would be unfair to say that she has no redeeming qualities. In fact, aside from being spoiled, Mia is quite a good girl. And yes, she is also a smart one!
Age Problems
Before we continue, we have to admit that Mia’s age is not entirely clear. Her body in this new version of her story is about 12 years old. But she remembers 18 years of life, so we can assume that her mind is older. That makes her achievements a little less impressive than they would have been for a 12-year-old.
But nobody in the universe knows that! And so, people see a tiny child being extremely smart and wise, which justifies their awe at her accomplishments.
Abel
We will always be amazed at how well Mia treats Abel. The two seem to really care for each other already by Episode 5. And in Episode 4, Mia finds inspirational words for Abel. Abel has been under his brother’s thumb for a while, and it has affected his self-esteem. But Mia tells him that if he doesn’t feel like he is enough for her, he can always become better. The words seem to have an impact on Abel, and they are a good example of Mia being wise and also kind to people.
Wheat Plan
Episode 7’s wheat plan is honestly quite smart. True, it’s not entirely clear how much of the plan is Mia’s, given that Ludwig misunderstands her rather profoundly. But for a girl who has limited understanding of economics to come up with a plan for regularly buying foreign wheat while demanding that the price doesn’t change during famine is pretty smart.
Mia is both wise and smart, and given that in-universe, people watch a tiny girl make all these wise statements, it’s not surprising that she is called a Sage. So it doesn't really matter if it's pure luck or if it's her wit.
