THE ONE PIECE remake reveals its first key visual — February 2027
Wit Studio's from-the-ground-up One Piece adaptation now has a poster and a month, and the poster is making a deliberate argument. It's staged as a direct tribute to Eiichiro Oda's very first One Piece cover art, which is a clear signal about what this project is: not a continuation, not a side story, but a return to the beginning with three decades of animation technique applied to it.
February 2027 is the window. That's the entirety of the confirmed information, and given the scale of what's being attempted — reanimating a series with more than a thousand existing episodes behind it, starting from East Blue — a single image plus a month is a fairly generous amount of certainty this far out.
The interesting question is pacing. The original adaptation is famous for its filler and its glacial arc structure. A modern remake produced with a defined episode count is, in theory, the version of One Piece that people who bounced off the anime in 2004 could actually finish. Wit Studio has not said a word about episode counts, and no one should expect them to for a while.
