Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy- (Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu) is about Makoto Misumi. His parents are from a different world, Elysion, and Makoto is supposed to return to Elysion to become a hero. However, when the Goddess of Elysion sees him, she considers him too ugly to serve her and throws him off the edge of the world.
Fortunately, Makoto is saved by Tsukuyomi, a Moon God, who grants Makoto enough power for him to live freely in Elysion. Makoto meets many unusual creatures and together, they try to create a new civilization where all sorts of creatures can live peacefully.
The light novel is still ongoing, and Season 1 of the anime was aired in summer and fall 2021. It was produced by C2C (Reincarnated as a Sword). Season 2 is scheduled for January 2024, and it is produced by J.C.Staff (Maid Sama!, Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma), but the main staff returns for Season 2. For example, the director is once again Shinji Ishihira (My Hero Academia Season 4; Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero).
