We can all agree that Nanami is the best husband.
The fan community is a constant source of entertainment. Sometimes it feels weird, on rare occasions it's weirdly wholesome, as this case proves.
Users on TikTok decided to explore the pairings between Jujutsu Kaisen characters and Disney princesses and created some interesting combinations. It all started with Gojo Satoru and Princess Elsa from Frozen, which is quite understandable, at least palette-wise, but then it took quite an unexpected turn. For example, Sukuna was paired with Cinderella, which probably somehow correlates with his obsession with limbs, Fushiguro Megumi enjoyed the company of Ariel, probably because he's more fitting the image of Prince Eric, and Geto Suguru ended up with Tinkerbell — this maybe has something to do with her being a magical creature.
However, the pairing that swooped a lot of people from their feet was between Nanami Kento and Tiana, the lead character of Princess and the Frog. The popularity of this crackship can be easily explained: Nanami fans, especially those who have read the manga, usually want the best for him, want him to experience something nice and wholesome, and Tiana, the hardworking princess who treasures a nice meal and a healthy work-life balance more than anything seems just perfect for him!
So the social networks got flooded with the content under the "tianami" tag, ranging from doodles to full-colored fan art, doujins, and fanfiction works, where Nanami either gets isekai'd in Tiana's world after certain events in manga, or just goes to the New Orleans on a business trip. In just a week Archive of Our Own got 34 fanfics dedicated to this pairing, and the amount of artwork on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Tumblr cannot be counted. Some creators didn't forget about Prince Naveen, the person Tiana ended up with in the movie, and included him in their stories, making them no less wholesome, but upping a rating a bit.
Fandom is an unstoppable force, especially when a lot of people end up agreeing on something, and in this rare case, one of the beloved characters gets to spend some nice time in the company of a character who would understand his troubles and his goals. Good for you, Nanamin!
