April is just around the corner, and this spring season promises to be a great one, considering how many incredible anime we’re going to get. So let’s look at some of them and get hyped.
The long-awaited remake of the 2008 Spice and Wolf series. From a new studio this time, so get ready for some art style changes.
Holo is a powerful wolf deity who used to be very helpful to the villagers and their harvest. However, the years went by, and people have no need for her blessing anymore.
When Holo meets a merchant named Kraft, she suggests becoming his business partner, which he accepts. And thus begins their incredible journey together.
A Condition Called Love (Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai)
Airs: April 4
Fans expect this anime to become the best romance series of the season, but will it really be true?
Little did Hotaru know that offering Hananoi an umbrella after seeing him break up with his girlfriend would lead to this outcome: the boy appears in her class the next day and suggests Hotaru to become his girlfriend.
Hotaru didn’t really see finding her true love as her priority, but everything might change because she agrees to date Hananoi.

Takumi used to work as a chef (and was great at that!), but was let go from his job. There’s a new job for him, though, but he will have to live in a boarding house if he decides to take it, so he’s having doubts.
However, Mira, an incredibly pretty caretaker at the boarding house, catches Takumi’s attention, and he has no choice but to agree to the job. Little does he know that Mira has a secret: she comes from another world!

Haruka Sakura has no respect for weak people and doesn’t deem them worthy of his attention. The strongest ones, on the other hand, are exactly the people he likes to challenge.
Haruka has just joined Furin High School, where degenerates are known for their brawling strength. He has a peculiar hair color and heterochromia, so he knows what it’s like to be judged for his appearance. But it’s also made him adapt and become stronger, and now Haruka’s ready to fight his way to the top.
Vampire Dormitory

Mito’s beauty is so outstanding that it indirectly becomes the reason why he loses his job. There are too many women visiting the restaurant he works at, and it’s getting annoying.
But Mito is about to meet the mysterious Ruka, who turns out to be a vampire. Ruka licks Mito’s blood and says it tastes disgusting. Nevertheless, the vampire reveals that he cannot drink the blood of girls, so he’s looking for a handsome boy for that purpose. And Mito might be just the one.
Rinkai!

If you’re a fan of sports anime, don’t worry, the upcoming season also has some things to offer. And if you prefer women’s sports, Rinkai will definitely be your cup of tea.
The anime revolves around women's bicycle racing that has been revived as the Rinkai League. Although the girls don’t have much experience in sports, they will do their best to reach the top. And we’d like to believe they’ll be successful.
Tadaima, Okaeri

BL fans also have something to look forward to. Tadaima, Okaeri seems like the cutest BL omegaverse romance that will air in April, and we sincerely hope that it will melt our hearts, indeed.
Makasi and Hiromu are married with a son named Hikari. They move to another area, better suited for raising children, and this is where their new journey begins. They’ll have to face a couple of everyday issues and learn how to deal with new people in their lives.
Kaiju No. 8 (Kaijuu 8-gou)

Japan is suffering from giant monsters called "kaiju,” which is why there’s a military organization called the Defense Corps. These are brave people risking their lives fighting the monsters.
Kafka’s dream is to join the Defense Corps and be useful to his country, but he’s left with a much less satisfying job, as a sweeper, a person who cleans up the remains of defeated monsters.
But his life is about to change when a small kaiju forces its way in through Kafka’s mouth, turning the man into a humanoid monster.
Black Butler: Public School Arc (Kuroshitsuji: Kishuku Gakkou-hen)
Airs: April 13
Although we tried to avoid sequels on this list, we can’t ignore the new season of Black Butler. Season 3, aka Book of Circus, aired 10 years ago, so it’s a very big deal for the fandom.
This time, Ciel is going to enroll at Weston College to investigate the disappearance of its students. He’ll quickly realize that he’ll need to use his manipulation skills to get close to the four Prefects of the school to solve this mystery.
And don’t worry, Sebastian will follow and assist Ciel as usual.
Whisper Me a Love Song (Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau)

Yuri fans, did you think we’d forgotten about you? Of course not! This series is for you.
Yori sings in a band, and her wonderful performances made one of her underclassmen, Himari, fall for her straightaway. Himari is not the shyest girl in the world, so she decides to confess her feelings to Yori.
