Are you a fan of the Forgers? Check out these series then.
If you’ve already finished both seasons of Spy x Family and been to a movie theater to see Code: White, we’ve got a couple of suggestions to help you fill the void in your heart.
A family of three where no one is blood-related? Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
Four-year-old Miri arrives in Tokyo completely alone and finds herself at the center of a well-thought assassination plan of Kazuki and Rei. The mission fails and they decide to take Miri home with them.
They want to return Miri to her mother, but can’t help but get attached to the girl. We have a feeling these two assassins are about to learn that raising a small child might be even more difficult than going on a mission.
There’s nothing Rin enjoys more than camping on her own. While other girls her age spend time with their peers shopping and playing video games, she sits alone at the base of Mount Fuji.
However, her peace is about to be disturbed when Nadeshiko gets lost and is forced to take refuge at Rin’s campsite. Despite the tense beginning of their relationship, girls have a great time together. And who knows, maybe their camping adventures will not end there?

Great Pretender
This series is not about a family or a close group of friends, but it will remind you of Spy x Family a lot due to its criminal part.
Makoto’s life has forced him to go down a criminal path. When he tries to con a seemingly regular tourist, he’s more than surprised: the tourist turns out to be Laurent Thierry, a fellow con man, and an even more skilled one.
Instead of hating each other’s guts, they become partners and continue their journey together. And hilarious cases ensue.
Where to watch: Netflix
The Yuzuki Family's Four Sons (Yuzuki-san Chi no Yonkyoudai)
Another family anime on our list. And it’s just as adorable.
This series follows four sons of the Yuzuki family, who lost their parents and have to survive on their own now. Despite having completely different personalities, they have strong bonds and care deeply for each other.
If you’re looking for a warm slice-of-life anime about simple (and not so simple) everyday problems, this is the series for you.
Where to watch: Crunchyroll
Sweetness & Lightning (Amaama to Inazuma)
If you found Loid’s struggles in raising Anya hilarious, you’ll be just as charmed by these series’ protagonists.
After the death of his wife, Kouhei lives alone with his young daughter Tsumugi. However, the lack of cooking skills and his busy job are in the way of properly taking care of the girl.
But one of Kouhei’s students, Kotori, is here to save the day: she invites the man and his daughter to her family's restaurant.
