Bad Boy is an Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) spin-off manga by the author of the original series, Hajime Isayama. It was announced quite some time ago, but few details have been provided since the announcement.
We Don’t Know Much About Bad Boy
Bad Boy is said to be released on April 30, 2024. This date is just around the corner, but it seems like everyone has forgotten about the extra manga chapters. Attack on Titan fans are starting to get nervous, so hopefully some more details will be revealed soon.
It’s been confirmed that Bad Boy will revolve around Levi and his backstory. No official information about the plot of the manga chapters has followed, but there have been some disturbing leaks. It’s still unclear whether they can be trusted, but a big number of fans sure hope they can’t.
Post-Rumbling Content Would Be Nice
Of course, everyone is happy to learn more about Levi and his past; he’s one of the fan-favorite characters after all. But there are other things that fans are especially curious about, and there’s hope that at least some of them will also be explored in Bad Boy.
The cover for the volume was released back in October 2023, featuring Levi, Gabi and Falco sitting together with other Attack on Titan characters working in the background. The entire scene is definitely a post-rumbling one, as there are titan footprints in the picture.
This got fans thinking about other contents of Bad Boy. What if Levi’s backstory isn’t everything we’ll see in the manga?
The finale of Attack on Titan doesn’t shed a lot of light on the world after the Rumbling. Yes, we know that Paradis was destroyed years after Eren’s death, but it’s not like this is the most important part.
What’s more interesting, though, is how the Attack on Titan characters deal with the consequences of the Rumbling mere months after it happened. People have to rebuild cities and houses, and society needs to learn how to get back to their regular lives.
Fans are really hoping that such things will also be explored in Bad Boy, and we’ll see more of the characters just trying to leave the horrors behind them. We could get a glimpse of their everyday lives, and then Levi would sit down with Gabi and Falco after a hard day’s work and tell them about his past.
