It introduces various characters; Korean names have been replaced with Japanese ones.
The animation of the trailer looks wonderful.
While some countries are already starting to watch the first two episodes of Solo Leveling (Ore dake Level Up na Ken), others just have to wait a little bit longer. The worldwide release is scheduled for January 7, 2024, and in less than a month we’ll all have the opportunity to experience this new series.
Ten years ago “the Gate” opened in the world and it connected our world to the scary realm of monsters. Skilled Hunters are the ones who have to deal with this issue. Sung Jin-Woo is one of these hunters, but the problem is that he’s considered to be the weakest one. But he has to pursue this career in order to pay for his mother’s medical bills. However, an accident changes his life, and he’s given a chance to become one of the world’s most powerful hunters.
New trailer is out
A new trailer is already here, and it introduces us to Solo Leveling characters. You might find yourself surprised with their names and asking “who the hell is Shun Mizushino?”, but don’t worry, you’re watching the correct trailer. Solo Leveling is originally a South Korean web novel, thus it has Korean names. A Japanese studio A-1 Pictures is working on the anime adaptation, and they’ve made the decision to change the names to Japanese-sounding ones. So Shun Mizushino is none other than Sung Jin-Woo, the main protagonist.
Besides the names, there are also some things worth your attention. All the action and monsters are animated beautifully, and the entire thing gives you shivers. Despite the criticism of the art style that followed the previous trailers, fans mention that the animation itself was never the issue. A-1 Pictures has done a great job, as it appears from the trailer, and we’re all excited to see another proof of that in the final product. No CGI has been detected by the viewers either, and they can’t help but feel happy about that.
One more thing that fans noticed is the music. Although some were rather unexcited by the K-pop opening, they seem to be hyped for the ending theme. So we might receive a possible banger in January.
The trailer was met with overall excitement and glee, and fans just want the Solo Leveling fandom to arise. After all, it’s less than a month before the premiere, and it’s time to get ready. But be careful, though, and don’t forget that some people are already watching the series, so try to avoid spoilers.
