Hell’s Paradise revolves around Gabimaru, who was sentenced to death, but cannot die due to his abilities. No matter what the executioners try to do, they just can’t kill him. And now he’s got a chance to deserve the complete pardon: he just needs to travel to a mysterious island to find the elixir of life.
Cast and visual have been revealed
It has recently been announced that the second stage play titled “The Final Chapter” will run in Tokyo (Theater 1010) and Osaka (Cool Japan Park TT Hall), starting from February 15, 2024. The cast for the play has been revealed in a small trailer and Tsubasa Kizu, who played Gabimaru in the first show, is returning. The entire trailer feels like you’re watching a very advanced cosplay show, and this only adds to the excitement.

What about the anime?
This news is, without any doubts, exciting. But anime fans are more preoccupied with another question: where is Season 2? The anime adaptation finished airing earlier this year, and the sequel is said to be in the works. However, there’s been an absolute lack of news ever since. Naturally, fans are upset that a live action project got ahead of the anime.
Let’s not forget that MAPPA is the studio that’s working on Hell’s Paradise, and as you might have heard, the situation in the studio is quite troublesome right now. So it might be the reason for the lack of updates. However, let’s have hope and believe that Hell’s Paradise will return with more news in the future.
