We’re introduced to more characters and more conflicts. The team finally goes to another school, and a big match is definitely on its way. The humor is also getting better, and while Episode 3 was also filled with inappropriate juvenile jokes, fans are beginning to enjoy them. Even Kei doesn’t seem as annoying as before.
That’s why it was so important to give Oblivion Battery these three episodes to show what it can offer. Viewers are getting used to its peculiar style and weird gags and are ready to stick with the anime until Season 1 finishes airing.
