Well, there might be one more now: Episode 18 will be delayed by one day on streaming services worldwide.

Now, the fact that it will be delayed only on streaming services means the episode will air on TV during its normal timeslot. That is understandable, however: TV schedules are way less flexible. You can’t just push an episode back a day, as there is something else airing that day at that time. However, there is a chance that MAPPA will be able to pull this off and finish the show in time — they are a way bigger studio than BUG FILMS, with more resources available to them. There have also been rumors that the production committee refused to delay JJK beyond 2023. However, it would be much better for the animators (and arguably, for the visual quality of the show itself) to delay the anime to a later date.
