Will we ever see him again?

There are quite a few characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, whose fate is still unclear in the manga. First there was Nobara, then Megumi. We won’t even talk about how many fans are hoping that Gojo’s death is still uncertain.
But today let’s talk about Yuta, who we also haven’t seen for some time now.
Killed by Sukuna?
The last time we saw Yuta on the battlefield was in Chapter 251, where he was hit by Sukuna and was heavily injured. He was transported to the healing station then, and his status is still unclear.
Gojo was hit by Sukuna with a similar attack, but his death was confirmed straightaway, so why is no one talking about Yuta anymore?
A number of readers are unsure whether or not Yuta got sliced in half just like Gojo, but we have to agree that the manga art does imply that indeed.
We don’t see half of his body falling to the ground like it was with Gojo, but some fans think it has something to do with Rika trying to keep his body together.
Since Gojo’s and Yuta’s situations seem so alike, fans see two possible options. Number one is something Gojo’s stans have been saying for ages: the strongest sorcerer is alive and will be coming back. Or number two: Sukuna’s hit was deadly again, and Yuta is gone for good, too.
Not Confirmed Means Didn’t Happen
Still, the lack of confirmation is something that doesn’t allow us to state that Yuta is dead. After all, he was immediately transported away from the battlefield, and we should never underestimate Rika, who is an incredibly powerful being. Fans are confident: she is the reason why Sukuna’s hit wasn’t lethal for Yuta.
Rika was incredibly fast to grab Yuta, so there was a lot of time to fix the damage done by Sukuna. Yuta is a very important character, so it can’t be the end of him. Manga readers are sure he’s coming back in one of the upcoming chapters, and we really want to believe that.
On top of that, dozens of shounens have taught us one thing: if there’s no body shown, there’s a high chance that a character is still alive.
Yuta should be at the healing station right now, being treated for his wounds. And when he’s feeling better, he’s bound to come back to the story and join the Sukuna fight again.
