On top of that, Cursed Techniques cannot be learned, they are given at birth. It’s like when a game character can only have one spell or special ability.
Curses and sorcerers have grades. If we go back to the gaming analogy, then it’s the level of your character. Imagine Genshin Impact, for example. You need to level up each character for them to become stronger and more effective in a battle.
JJK grades can also be leveled up, but you need practice for that instead of gaining material like you usually do in a game. Special grade is the strongest in Jujutsu Kaisen, then goes Grade 1, Grade 2, etc.
Domain Expansion and Black Flash
Domain Expansion is a type of technique that allows its user to get 100% hit. It puts its owner and its target inside a barrier, where every hit is meant to be successful. The only way to counter it is to create a more powerful Domain Expansion.
There’s also Black Flash that amplifies the user's physical strike when cursed energy is applied to it. When you’re playing a video game, it’s usually called a critical hit. While it’s strongly dependent on the crit rate in games, in Jujutsu Kaisen it’s based on your cursed energy and state.
