Leaked Attack on Titan Anime Finale Frames Give Fans New Reason to Make Fun of Eren

A couple of frames from the Final Season have been leaked, and fans are having fun.

Attack on Titan manga spoilers ahead!

Summary:

  • Attack on Titan finale frames are leaked.
  • If they are true, the ending is going to be true to the manga.
  • Eren’s breakdown from the final chapter is among the leaks.

A couple of days before the premiere of the Final Season Part 4 of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin), some anime frames were leaked, and fans have been competing for the title of the funniest ever since.

Manga ending is real

The leaked frames do confirm that the manga ending stays the same in the adaptation. The images show one of the last manga scenes with Mikasa sitting by a tree. Her scarf is around her neck (of course) and we may see the bird that’s become a symbol of Eren after the ending, pulling on that scarf.

One of the frames also shows a blurry figure which might be mistakenly taken for Levi, but manga readers know that it’s no one else but the main protagonist himself. Eren’s haircut is different from his usual one, and this is exactly what he looks like during his paths conversation with Mikasa. All that means that the hut scene with these two discussing their possible life and intention to run away together, leaving everything and everyone behind, will happen in the anime as well.

The leaks also include a couple of scenes from Eren’s conversation with Armin, and if one of them is just Armin’s frightened face and Eren’s bloody hand, the other one is… yeah, THAT scene.

Most hated AOT scene will also be in the anime

Up until now all conversations about the worst manga panels include the scene of Eren’s breakdown from the last chapter of the AOT manga. The titan shifter falls down, cries and claims that he doesn’t want Mikasa to find another man and wants the girl to think about him for at least 10 years after his death. Although Eren has always been quite emotional and it’s not his first breakdown, manga readers thought that this particular scene was still out of character due to how pathetic the boy looked. His relationship with Mikasa was also mentioned a lot, and if Mikasa’s feelings raised no questions and were obvious quite early in the series, Eren reciprocating them in a romantic way felt out of place.

This leaked scene encouraged the new wave of mocking Eren and discussing how bad the ending of the manga was. Some fans make fun of Eren’s breakdown and say that this will be the only reason to watch the finale. Although we can’t wait for all the memes that will follow the anime ending, we can’t help but feel sorry for this outcome for Attack on Titan.
