How epic were these scenes?
Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) is packed with outstanding moments, and we think it's time to talk about some of them.
Eren's Transformation (Stohess District)
Episode 24, Annie is revealed to be the Female Titan, the Survey Coprs try to capture her, but fail, the girl transforms into the titan, and Eren is the only hope that people have of stopping her, but… he fails to transform. No matter how hard the main protagonist is trying to use his shifter abilities, nothing seems to be working. Surrounded by his fighting comrades, the boy is lying on the ground under a huge part of a stone wall.
Hopelessness permeates the air until Eren finds it in himself to keep fighting. The memories of his mother, dead comrades and horrors he's experienced fill him up with anger and determination, and his powers finally work.
Reiner and Bertolt's Reveal
Up until this moment in season 2 no one really knew who the Armored and Colossus titans were. The suspense is incredible, you can almost feel that something terrible is about to happen. Reiner and Bertolt ask Eren to talk to them, and just casually reveal their identities. After Mikasa's strike, Reiner is wounded and now that the truth is out there, they have no other choice but to fight.
Battle of Shiganshina District
The entire battle lasts for four episodes and each of them is packed with outstanding action that makes you feel super anxious for your favorite characters. Erwin leading the scouts to their deaths, Levi's promise to end the Beast Titan's life, fight with Reiner, Armin sacrificing himself so that Eren can defeat Bertholt… each of these scenes can bring you a new level of fear and excitement that will definitely result in you getting chills.
Reiner and Eren's Conversation
Reiner was definitely not expecting to see Eren back in Marley, but fate is cruel. And now they have to discuss everything that's happened and it's Reiner's turn to be the victim. The entire episode is filled with anticipation, and you can feel that Eren is not there just to have a simple conversation. The boy's transformation at the end of the episode gives you so much hype that you won't be needing any coffee to keep you excited for the rest of the week.
Eren Starts The Rumbling
Eren's speech towards Ymir is already enough to give you goosebumps, but don't think that the cool part is over just yet. The crying face of the girl is followed by one of the most sinister moments in Attack on Titan: the beginning of the rumbling. The ominous music, giant titans, clueless scouts, and frightening creature that Eren is turning into.
If you're not terrified yet, the series has more to offer! The scene is followed by another one of Eren's speeches, and this time the titan shifter promises to exterminate all the lives outside of Paradis.
