Something to get you more hyped for the upcoming premiere.
Summary:
- Metallic Rouge is scheduled for January 11.
- The opening theme for the series has been released.
- Fans have high expectations for the series.
Metallic Rouge is an original anime television series produced by Bones. The premiere is set for January 11, 2024, and we have only a couple more days to wait until we can experience this new journey.
Metallic Rouge is set in a world where real humans coexist with androids called Neans. They can’t harm humans and have to follow their orders.
Rouge is one of these artificial humans, and together with her partner and buddy Naomi, she’s tasked with killing nine androids who are hostile to the government and possess the latent potential to surpass humanity.
We know the mission will take them to Mars, but is it going to be successful?
The OP is out
While we are all waiting for the actual premiere of Metallic Rouge and creating our theories about its plot and characters, Bones decided to give us a little treat and released the opening theme for the series.
Although it’s just an opening and it’s too early to analyze the series or even the animation, there are definitely a few things worth commenting on.
The visuals do look stunning. We hope that the anime itself will be just as beautiful as the previously released trailers and the opening because both main characters, Rouge and Naomi, are fascinating to look at. We can’t wait to see this duo in action!
Some android battle sequences are included in the OP, and they look great. We know it doesn’t mean that the actual anime will be as amazing, but it gives us great hope. Are we looking at a new possible mecha banger?
The only thing that feels out of place is the music itself. Androids and fights are not the first thing that comes to mind when you listen to it, but if you don’t think about that and just enjoy the soundtrack, it becomes really pleasant.
Fans’ expectations
Due to all previously released content, the expectations for Metallic Rouge are rather high. The trailers were incredible, the OP is satisfying, and the premise feels intriguing.
Not to mention the stunning girls as the main characters. Fans are already screaming “yuri baiting” but we’ll wait for the premiere before we can say anything.
Metallic Rouge is quite promising so far and it has all the chances to become one of the best winter season anime series. Let’s just hope that it won’t disappoint us.
