The official X account for LINE Manga app revealed that Metallic Rouge will get a webtoon adaptation. The webtoon will be in full color and the release is scheduled for March 7, 2024 on the LINE Manga website.
Metallic Rouge is an original anime series, so there’s naturally no manga or original source for the series. But manga enthusiasts have been heard, and if you’ve always wanted to experience this project in another format, you’ll soon have your chance.
There hasn’t been any detailed information about the upcoming webtoon, but this fact was never on our way to getting hyped.
Metallic Rouge follows two girls in a world where androids and humans coexist, and the main protagonists are incredible examples of both species: Rouge is a powerful yet mysterious android, and Naomi is her eccentric partner. They are on a mission to find and get rid of the artificial humans that pose a threat to the government.

The original series premiered on January 11, 2024, and there have only been two episodes of the series so far. Still, fans are already praising Metallic Rouge for its peculiar world, stunning visuals and the absolutely incredible duo of the main protagonists.
Which, by the way, may be exactly the reason for the webtoon adaptation. Metallic Rouge seemed very promising when it was announced, and the anime premiere only proved the predictions and has all chances to become one of the biggest projects this year.

What if we get their backstories in the webtoon? Again, we don’t know if the anime series is going to provide that, so maybe there’s still a fascinating story of how they met and became partners coming, but if there isn’t, we’d love to see it in the webtoon.
