We have to start with the incredible direction of the opening. The art style, the colors, the references — everything flows together so well that you just know: watching the video only once is not an option, we won’t skip the opening while watching the series for sure.

Hiroshi Kitadani, who is famous for singing the first One Piece opening theme, is back for this one as well, and it just adds a new level of nostalgia and excitement to the entire thing. By the way, you can also hear Kitadani singing in a few more openings as well (15th, 19th and 22nd).
