Sasaki and Peeps (Sasaki to Pii-chan) is a fantasy comedy light novel series written by Buncololi and illustrated by Kantoku. It started only a couple of years ago and is still ongoing. And now the series is getting ready for a big event, which is the launch of the anime series.
What is it about?
You will be shocked, but the main characters of the series are… Sasaki and Peeps! Sasaki is a corporate man, who is unsatisfied with his life and feels unfulfilled at the end of each day. He is lonely and longs for some companionship, that’s why he visits a pet shop where he acquires a cute bird, without realizing that it will change his life forever. The bird is none other than Peeps, and Sasaki is surprised to learn that it not only is capable of speaking, but is also going to become his key to traveling to another world. Now that he can cross between worlds, he has hope of living a nice and peaceful life, but nothing can be that simple, right?

The Sasaki and Peeps anime is scheduled for January 5, 2024, and with a little less than a month before the release, we’re getting more and more content (and excited!). The first promotional video was released almost a month ago, and we finally have the second one.
The trailer gives you the cutest and most wholesome vibes with its captivating aesthetics and pretty motion design. The art style and colors are extremely appealing, and judging from the trailer, the anime is going to be an eye candy. The overall premise also promises a lot of humor and joyous adventure, and hearing an adorable little bird speaking in this commanding voice may crack you up at first. The entire video is fun and games until the very last seconds of it when the picture turns black, and you can hear sinister noises accompanied by the main protagonist saying “but that was just what I thought”. Definitely intriguing!
