Fans were highly surprised by the servants’ betrayal of Rishe.
It may hint at Theodore being the main villain of the story.
It may also mean that it wasn’t really a betrayal but a rescue mission.
If you thought that 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy was just about love, romance and a little bit of politics, you were wrong. Because it seems that our beloved Rishe is in danger now.
What happened?
The previous episode introduced Arnold’s brother, Theodore, and this is where everything goes down. We have to admit that the boy did look suspicious during his first seconds on screen, but the finale of Episode 5 proves it: he’s dangerous.
If Theodore became a dark horse pretty quickly, the thing that surprised most fans in the latest episode was Kamil and Elsie siding with Arnold’s brother and helping him abduct Rishe. This is a betrayal that won’t be forgotten.
What does it mean?
However, the interesting part is not the betrayal itself, but the meaning of it. We understand that it’s all connected to Theodore, of course, because he’s the one thanking the traitors for assisting him with Rishe. But what is he trying to achieve?
There are several theories based on this action. First, it might be just a case of a jealous younger brother. Arnold is a Crown Prince, he has great influence, a lot of subordinates, and now he’s got a fiancée who’s nothing short of a beauty.
If it is indeed pure jealousy, he might want to take something that’s Arnold’s just out of spite, and it’s not even connected to Rishe, she’s just a victim of this brotherly battle. However, it might be more complicated than that.
We know that Arnold was the one who started a war in Rishe’s previous life and even killed her then. But could it have been that the war was Theodore’s fault and he was the true villain of the story?
There’s also another theory, which is a complete opposite of the previous one. Theodore did try to warn Rishe and tell her Arnold was a monster. What if the goal of his abduction plan is actually to save Rishe? That would also explain Kamil and Elsie’s betrayal, since it would technically not even be a betrayal, but a rescue mission.
It could all be much easier, though. We still haven’t seen Rishe showing her fighting abilities in this life, and this might be a perfect chance to do so. On top of that, Arnold will definitely try to save his fiancée, and it will provide more opportunities for them to bond.
Anyway, we can’t wait to see where the story will go and which of our theories is the correct one (if one of them really is), so let’s just wait and see where this abduction will lead us.
Do you think Theodore is a villain?
Betrayal at its finest.
