Cutest omegaverse?
Summary:
- Tadaima, Okaeri is an upcoming boys love anime, scheduled for April 2024.
- A new trailer is out, and it’s adorable.
- Fans are happy to see familiar faces among the main cast.
Tadaima, Okaeri is an upcoming boys love (BL) anime adaptation of the manga series of the same name by Ichi Ichikawa. It was announced in September 2023, and since then we haven’t got many details about the project.
The November announcement set the premiere date for the series to somewhere in 2024 and surprised us with a new visual. And now, finally, something else!
Masaki is a stay-at-home dad who has been struggling with feeling like a burden to his husband due to him being an omega. After the birth of their son, the family moves to another area that would be more suitable for raising children.
They’re eager to create the domestic atmosphere, but just like any other family, they will encounter some difficulties along the way.
New trailer is here
A new trailer for Tadaima, Okaeri is out, and this is everything you could have expected from a BL slice-of-life series. It takes the word “wholesome” to another level and shows you the cutest and happiest family that could possibly exist. We’re sure the characters will have a couple of struggles, but for now it’s just delightful to see them smiling and being absolutely adorable.
The family surname is another peculiar thing that you might have missed in the previous announcements. Fujiyoshi sounds curiously similar to fujoshi, which is a word that’s usually used to describe fans of BL series.
Premiere details
The fact that Hikari, the main protagonists’ son, is voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki is more than exciting. She’s already given us precious Anya from Spy x Family, and it feels like she’s about to bring the cute back in Tadaima, Okaeri. Atsumi Tanezaki has also given her voice to Frieren, which only makes the upcoming series more exciting.
Toshiyuki Morikawa who’s currently making us fall in love with Ashaf in The Witch and the Beast (Majo to Yajuu) and Atsushi Tamaru (Haikyuu!!, Oshi no Ko) are also among the main cast of Tadaima, Okaeri, and they will play the two dads in the series.
Studio Deen is working on the anime, and the premiere is set for April 2024. We don’t know the precise release date, but are patiently waiting for further details.
The absolutely adorable trailer makes fans wait for the anime even more. The series being a BL and an omegaverse excites them to no end. Fans have been asking for more wholesome BL anime for ages, and it seems like their prayers have finally been answered
