If the series doesn’t give us answers, we’ll come up with them ourselves.
Summary:
We still don’t know much about the Immortal Nine.
There are various fan theories about their origins and meanings.
There’s a theory that each of them represents a planet.
Metallic Rouge is notorious for being very mysterious even to the point when everything becomes confusing. And fans are very eager to finally learn the truth about its world and especially about the Immortal Nine, the strongest Neans in the series.
There have been a lot of speculations about various characters and plotlines, and we’ve decided to discuss one of the theories that fans have.
Immortal Nine as planets
What if the Immortal Nine are associated with planets in our solar system? There are eight planets plus Pluto that used to be considered one, so if we also include it, the number will be just right.
On top of that, Rouge can also be connected to the Immortal Nine one way or another. At first, fans thought that she was also one of them, but right now this theory is doubtful.
That’s why it would be so perfect for Rouge to be associated with Pluto. Pluto is not a real planet, and Rouge is not really an Immortal, even though both were considered something else previously.
There’s also a suggestion that Rouge might be Mars, since it’s a red planet, and her Nean form is this color, but it would be more poetic if she were indeed Pluto.
But then we’ll have only eight planets for the Immortal Nine. And fans also have an answer to that. Ace and Alice have been recently revealed to be part of the nine. They are twins, and we know that the Gemini (Latin for “twins”) astrological sign in the zodiac is associated with Mercury. So could it be that this planet represents them both?
There are some more curious ideas. Sarah, whom Rouge defeated back in Episode 1, might be associated with Venus, which was named after a Roman goddess of love. Fans think it would really fit Sarah’s personality.
We also met Eden, and fans believe that his name might suggest that he represents Earth. And Giallon might be Saturn, since he has a lot of disguises, just like this planet has at least 146 moons.
One of the most interesting ideas is that Graufon might represent Jupiter, since this Nean fights by manipulating gravity, and Jupiter is the heaviest planet of the solar system. On top of that, Graufon just looks like the largest of all the Immortal Nine.
Of course, this is just a theory, and we have no idea if it has anything to do with reality, but this is something to think about while we’re waiting for the official reveal.
