Top-5 of Izuku’s Classmates to Make Perfect Villains in My Hero Academia

Just as terrifying as Villainous Izuku (or even more!)

There’s something to be said about the sheer assortment of quirks in My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia), and all the scary ways they could be used by people with less scruples. Hell, just class 1-A alone has plenty of quirks that could be prime villain material — so how about we share our top five?

And no, we won’t talk about the boring ones. Ojiro and Kirishima could be good enough low-level lieutenants, and Grape Juice is a villain in his own right (and is probably already on the registry) — but they are severely lacking in the oomph department. Todoroki, Bakugou and Tokoyami could level a city block or ten, sure — but as villain material, they are closer to meatheads like Muscular and Moonfish, all completely uninspired. Midoriya is both strong and analytical, which would’ve made for a scary combination, true — but he’s also the most common answer.

Let’s see who ELSE on 1-A could make for an effective, terrifying villain:

5. Hagakure’s Invisibility is a serial killer’s dream ability

 - image 1

Remember that time Himiko Toga snuck on the Provisional Exam grounds and ambushed Izuku? Imagine the same — except, he had no warning. Just a sudden stab, or a slice at the jugular coming out of nowhere — and then it doesn’t matter how many gigatons of force you can output once you activate your quirk, you are already out of commission — or dead. And that’s without going into the physics of her quirk and what could be achieved once it’s trained!

Hagakure could be anywhere, and unless you have some serious passive defense (even Kirishima needs a heads up!) or super perception, you won’t know until it is too late. The only reason she’s not higher on this list is that the rest could be terrifying even if you know they are coming.

4. Jiro and Shoji WILL hunt you down

Okay, so an invisible villain is scary — but how about a villain you couldn’t possibly hide from? Shoji and Jiro’s hearing is passively enhanced to the point they could pinpoint the locations of multiple heartbeats in a disaster area. Imagine this power — on someone who wants to kill you.

You try to hide in the closet — they know you are there. You try to relocate into the attic — they’re headed straight for you. You somehow find your way into a hedge maze — they’re always on your tail. The difference is what happens when they find you. Shoji is a behemoth of muscle and transformative tissue able to tear you apart with his replicating bare hands. Jiro can hit you with a screamer — or rather, an amplified soundwave that could shatter rock, let alone your eardrums, either killing you on the spot from shock, or leaving you dazed for long enough to finish the deed with a big rock. Either would make for a horrifying slasher villain. And speaking of horror…

3. Koda could be a walking plague

 - image 3

This taciturn boy is a hidden powerhouse of the class — and could reenact 7 Biblical plagues all by himself. But for the sake of the example, let’s narrow things down to the most potentially villainous part of his quirk — his underutilized bug control. Imagine him amassing an army of black widows. Those black widows are each carried by a dragonfly, allowing for better aerial mobility. They are supplemented by killer wasps, carrying multiple bullet ants each. And they all attack you simultaneously from the air, while centipedes, brown recluses and even more bullet ants emerge and attack from the ground. Oh, and there are literal clouds of flies, gnats and cockroaches obscuring your vision and burrowing into your face holes.

And that’s just ONE aspect of his quirk. Add in birds, rodents, and other animals up to and including bears and tigers — and there is truly nothing any but the strongest heroes could possibly do against him. There’s a reason he has the temperament of an old school Disney princess — Horikoshi is too cowardly to explore his quirk.

2. Uraraka’s gravity control is bonkers

 - image 4

What could be scarier than the fury of the entire animal kingdom? One of the Universe’s Fundamental Forces, of course. Uraraka’s gravity control is a simple deal — she just removes the gravity of any object she touches. The implications, however, could be terrifying. Remember how she wielded a concrete column during battle trials? Imagine that column being used on your mortal shell — which would be quite a crunchy fate, and yet would pale in comparison to the fact she could simply disable gravity for you.

With Uraraka’s quirk affecting your body, a strong wind could carry you high into the air, and a light push could send you into the stratosphere — slowly, yet inevitably, and giving her a choice of either suffocating you at high altitude, or sending you plummeting into the ground at terminal velocity. And unless you’ve got Hawks or some other flier on the speed dial? You are not coming back from either. And good luck dodging her attacks — with a masterful enough usage of her quirk, Uraraka’s mobility would be second only to Bakugo (if that).

1. Yaoyorozu’s Creation could rival Detnerat

 - image 5

There’s a reason Yaoyorozu is a recommended student, despite her confidence issues. Do you know what could be done with her Creation quirk? Literally anything. As long as she knows the chemical components and the construction of whatever item she wants, she could create it. This means, she could supply gear manufacturers with the rarest resources, and then study and replicate gear that nobody else could possibly copy! Someone with Momo’s brains yet none of her morals could easily become one of the most prominent figures of the underworld, rivaling Detnerat off her quirk’s utility alone!

And that’s to say nothing of the more direct battle applications of her quirk — from chemical weaponry and napalm bombs to biological weapons and high caliber munitions, she could equip an entire army with enough deadly force to take over the country — or arm herself with something that perfectly counters any stray hero that catches up to her! The rest of this list could be fantastic, horrifying villains in their own rights — but Yaoyorozu definitely takes the cake!
