Why Was Undead Unluck Episode 11 the Best We've Seen So Far?

At least because Negators Hunters were shown.

Undead Unluck spoilers ahead!

Summary:

  • Undead Unluck seems to be getting more and more popular.
  • Episode 11 pleasantly surprised the fans.
  • It had a lot of new plot elements.

Undead Unluck is one of the most impressive titles of the fall season. Although it didn't have many fans at the beginning of its release, that seems to be changing now. The fanbase is growing and more and more people are looking forward to the new episodes. It seemed like nothing could overshadow the amazing Negators fight with Victor, but recently Episode 11 came out and pleasantly surprised viewers.

How did the characters get to Rio de Janeiro?

Undead Unluck’s plot revolves around a girl named Fuuko and an eccentric man named Andy. The characters met when Fuuko tried to commit suicide. She has the ability to attract misfortune, so she spent her whole life sitting alone at home. Andy talked her out of the idea and asked for help. He also has a power that prevents him from dying. And Fuuko, he believes, will be able to bring misfortune to him. Thus began their adventure. The plot doesn't sound very optimistic, but it's not that bad. The story is funny in its own way.

Fuuko and Andy have come a long way since they first met. They have joined the Union – a special organization that tries to protect the world – and have even been to the United States and Russia. Now they are on another mission to Rio de Janeiro to find a new member for the Union. They have to attend an event where people are sold. The new Negator is also up for auction.

Episode 11 was very good

Even though there was no action in this episode, fans were very happy. First of all, there were a lot of touching interactions between the main characters. We finally saw them getting closer to each other. The series is not serious in its atmosphere, especially Andy looks very quirky, but in Episode 11 he opened up with a new side and supported Fuuko when she was sad. Fuuko herself was quite surprising. It seems like she finally got a chance to show herself. And maybe she will be in the center of the battle soon.

Most impressive, though, was the appearance of the Negators Hunters. The series finally got some real villains that don't look like the weekly bosses. Of course, Undead Unluck has a main villain — a god who wants to destroy the world and is opposed by the Union. But very little is known about him, and this storyline hasn't been revealed enough. So the appearance of antagonists who will immediately influence events is very important to the story's dynamics.
