It's time to mark your calendars, anime fans!

The summer anime season is coming to a close, which means a busy fall ahead.

Viewers can expect new projects, including the long-awaited adaptation of the manga by Japanese horror king Junji Ito, as well as new seasons of already familiar series.

1. Blue Lock Season 2

Release Date: October 5

In 2018, the Japanese national team finished last in the World Cup. The Japan Football Association, concerned about such results, hires coach Jinpachi Ego.

His main task is to raise the level of the national team's preparation for the upcoming World Cup. To this end, Ego creates a unique training program called Blue Lock, the goal of which is to create the ideal striker. Out of 300 candidates, Yoichi Isagi is chosen.

The first season, consisting of 24 episodes, was released in 2022. In the second season, viewers will see the characters prepare for the match with the Japanese youth team.

2. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3

Bleach is one of the "Big Three" anime, which also includes One Piece and Naruto. Like those titles, Bleach is a long-running project that began airing in 2004.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is the final arc of the story, consisting of 52 episodes divided into four parts. The first two parts have already been released. The third, subtitled The Conflict and consisting of 13 episodes, will be released this fall.

3. Uzumaki

Release Date: September 28

An anime adaptation of the manga of the same name by Junji Ito, who has been called the Japanese Stephen King. Uzumaki is Ito's biggest project and tells the story of the small town of Kurouzu, whose inhabitants are obsessed with spirals and are gradually going mad.

The people are plunged into a vortex of events from which there is no escape. The main character, Kirie, and her boyfriend, Shuichi, who is the first to suspect that Kurouzu is cursed, try to escape the town, but their attempts are unsuccessful.

The adaptation of the manga was announced in 2019. The premiere was scheduled for 2020, but has been postponed several times since then. In 2024, it was announced that the anime would start in September. The series will consist of four episodes.

4. Dandadan

Momo is no different from any other high school girl. There is just one thing – the girl believes in the existence of ghosts. And Momo's new friend Ken is sure that aliens are real. But the girl disagrees with him. As the granddaughter of a medium, she thinks that UFOs are just nonsense.

Momo and Ken make a bet to convince each other that they are right. Imagine their surprise when they discover that they were both wrong and that both ghosts and aliens exist. This is the story told in the new anime series Dandadan – an adaptation of the manga by Yukinobu Tatsu.

Subaru, after going to the grocery store, finds himself in a parallel world where he is immediately attacked. He is saved by a girl named Emilia. In gratitude, Subaru offers her his help in finding the stolen gems.

On their journey, Subaru and Emilia face various dangers and die. However, a new ability helps Subaru return to the starting point and start all over again.

In the third season, Subaru and his friend travel to Priestella, one of the largest cities in the kingdom, where new challenges await them.
