There are so many storylines and episodes in the anime that you will have to watch it again to discover all the hints and unexpected surprises for yourself.
There is one thing that all fans love – Easter eggs. There are numerous hidden details in the anime, often referring not only to the past and other parts of Naruto, but also to other movies and pop culture elements.
1. Pakkun Key Ring
There are many Easter eggs in the original Naruto anime that went unnoticed until some fans were super observant. This Easter egg in particular was a reference to a future episode of the series.
In Naruto Episode 20, the main character is seen opening his door, and on his keychain is a key ring. Attached to the keychain is a figurine of Pakkun the dog. Although Pakkun won't appear in the series until much later, this was a good hint that he would be there at all.
2. Guren in the Crowd
Aside from the main characters known for their powerful abilities, there are many strong supporting characters in the anime and manga, and one of them was hidden in the crowd in Shippuden, specifically in episode 479.
Guren, a powerful ninja, can be seen in the crowd gathered to see Naruto. She and several supporting characters who appear are among the spectators.
However, Guren's hairstyle and outfit helped to catch the eye of some Easter egg hunters.
3. Haku in Naruto: Shippuden
There are many scenes in Shippuden where there are large crowds of people, and as always, there are a few characters hidden among them.
Luckily, some anime fans have excellent eyesight and have found another Easter egg that is hard to see. In episode 183, a large crowd gathers after the virus outbreak.
In the crowd, viewers can see a character that looks like Haku. The way the character is dressed and his hairstyle clearly indicate that he is present in this scene.
4. Madara's Attack
Electro is one of Spider-Man's oldest and most popular villains. When The Amazing Spider-Man 2 came out, the character got a lot more attention because of his new look.
The Japanese movie poster featuring Electro turned out to be an Easter egg in Naruto, as the creator of the anime series himself stated that Madara's lightning attack in the poster was based on Electro's abilities.
5. Another Uchiha Clan Member
After the massacre, Sasuke was believed to be the last of the Uchiha clan. Or was he? In Shippuden Episode 359, Sasuke is sitting near a fence. As Naruto looks at him, a small child runs between them.
The boy has the symbol of the Uchiha Clan on his back. Is this the child of a member of the clan who wasn't present at the massacre? This was never confirmed, but it's an interesting Easter egg.
