A Condition Called Love (Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai) is an upcoming romantic anime based on a manga of the same name that is still ongoing. The plot follows Hotaru Hinase, a high school student who doesn't believe that she can fall in love, and Saki Hananoi, an honor student, determined to get Hotaru to date him. Saki seems to have fallen in love because Hotaru offered him an umbrella after his recent breakup with another girl. It takes time, but Hotaru begins to feel something, and so, she hopes that they can be together.

A Condition Called Love is based on a manga by Megumi Morino, who is already known due to Wake Up, Sleeping Beauty (Ohayou, Ibarahime), a manga that has an 8.49 score on MyAnimeList. The anime is supposed to come out in April 2024.

The director is Tomoe Makino, who directed several episodes of Haikyuu!! Season 4, as well as other titles such as Kotaro Lives Alone (Kotarou wa Hitorigurashi), which has a score of 8.2 on MyAnimeList.
