What is 100 Years Quest About?
After defeating the dark magician Zeref and the dragon Acnologia, the most powerful guild Fairy Tail embarks on new adventures in the unknown northern continent of Guiltina. This time, the heroes must go to the oldest guild to complete the most difficult quest.
At the guild, they meet their client – the dragon Elefseria, who asks the guild to seal the Five Dragon Gods equal in strength to Acnologia. In return, Elefseria promises to fulfill any wish the heroes may have.
Fairy Tail Series & Movies Watch Order
100 Years Quest is independent of the main plot of Fairy Tail, so you can start watching the new season without understanding the context. The only thing that might be unclear are the references to previous seasons.
Fairy Tail also released two movies between the seasons, which are also unrelated to the main arcs. For those who are familiar with the story and the characters, the full-length movies will be an excellent addition to the main storyline.

100 Years Quest is a warm, nostalgic show for fans of Fairy Tail and a friendly project for those who have never watched anime before.
Maybe the anime lacks some inventive animation solutions or unconventional script moves, but even without that, 100 Years Quest is able to give pleasant emotions to the fans who have been waiting for it for several years.
