Haikyuu!! is probably one of the best sports anime and definitely one of the most popular. There will be a sequel soon — a full-length movie in which Karasuno will meet their longtime rivals Nekoma on the way to winning the National Tournament. Viewers are eagerly awaiting this confrontation! Needless to say, each anime team has its own characteristics that attract fans. Of course, since there are so many cool characters! Here's a list of the teams that fans love the most.
Karasuno and Nekoma are not in the top. Let's not distract the favorites from preparing for the big match!
5. Shiratorizawa
Probably no one expected to see Shiratorizawa on the list, but here it is! Despite the rather aloof players, some of whom are not so well exposed, this team is eye-catching. Their games are some of the most impressive in the series. Perhaps it's because of the incredibly strong Ushijima, or the sneaky Tendo, or maybe fans like the cocky but inexperienced Goshiki. As we said, there are a lot of options! At least, this team should be loved for their dynamic pitching.
4. Fukurodani
Another great, but not perfect team is Fukurodani. There are also some characters that pale in comparison to the main representatives — Bokuto and Akaashi. Especially memorable is Bokuto, the captain and ace, who despite his strength acts like a moody child. It's funny to watch the whole team babysitting the captain.
3. Date Tech
Unlike Fukurodani, Date Tech appears in the first season. They play in the same prefecture as Karasuno. Despite their intimidating appearance, relations within the team are very warm and friendly. The characters complement each other perfectly — for example, the interactions between the expressive Futakuchi and the naive Koganegawa are cute. Enjoyable for those who prefer defense to offense in volleyball.
2. Aoba Johsai
Aoba Johsai may seem like a team of one player — captain and setter Oikawa. But it isn't! Aoba Johsai has already proven many times that they work as a well-coordinated team. Besides the attractive Oikawa, there are many other interesting characters with compelling stories. Aoba Johsai is definitely a strong but seemingly unlucky team. Their story is one of their strongest features that can't be left out.
1. Inarizaki
"The most popular" title goes to Inarizaki, a recently introduced team to the series. They, unlike all the other teams, have been delighting fans only since last season. Despite the relatively short acquaintance, it managed to hook viewers immediately. Many note the well-developed characters, whose chemistry does not leave anyone indifferent. And it's true! Miya brothers are wonderful! But even better are their games with unusual combinations that you can hardly find in any other team.
