Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions is a detective anime. In the center of the story is Totomaru Isshiki, an incompetent investigator. Despite his best efforts, he cannot succeed in his job, so he turns to a good detective, Ron Kamonohashi, following a friend's tip. Despite the fact that their first meeting does not go well, they team up and investigate crimes together.

There wasn't much of a main plot in the first season. It was mostly small investigations into different crimes that lasted 1-2 episodes. Only in The Case of the Island Observatory Murder the investigation lasted 3 episodes and it was impressive — the characters were shown from a new side and we even got to know the main villains.

Fans were really hoping that they would get a new part of the main story by the end of the season, and their expectations were met.

First season end and further expectations

In addition to Totomaru's story and investigations, an important part of the plot is the mystery surrounding Ron. The heroes met at a time when Ron was no longer solving crimes — he was forbidden to do it. The point is that he is suspected of the mass murder of criminals that occurred during his training at the detective academy.

Almost immediately, his innocence is clear. But there is something wrong with him, because Ron has the ability to drive criminals to suicide with just one look.

For a long time, the specific details of the story were not revealed. Only in the last episode, we learn that he is related to the evil M. Family, who are behind all the misfortunes in Ron's life.

The end was good. It seemed like we wouldn't see any details of the main story, as the first part of Episode 13 was like any other everyday investigation. But the second half was a pleasant surprise. Not only were we informed that the hero is really not guilty, but we were also shown more footage of the villains.

An exact release date for the second season has not been announced yet. Perhaps it will appear as early as 2024. What can we expect? There seems to be a lot of main storyline waiting for us as the events enter an active phase.

In the scene after the credits, we are told that the M. Family wants to launch an attack and that Winter, who is responsible for the Island Observatory incident, is going to Japan. Apparently, Winter will be the first villain that Totomaru and Ron will have to face. Hopefully the second season will come soon.
