In the new animation Geralt of Rivia will meet mermaids.

Netflix has released the first full trailer for the anime movie The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep. In this spin-off of The Witcher, Geralt of Rivia and his friend Jaskier will fight dangerous sea monsters.

What Will The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep Be About?

The anime takes place during the events of Season 1 of The Witcher. According to the plot, the villagers ask Geralt to investigate a series of crimes.

Geralt will take over the investigation of a series of crimes in a seaside village. The villagers will blame sea monsters for what happened. In an attempt to solve the mystery, Geralt will get involved in a centuries-old conflict between humans and mermaids. As the creators have hinted, the story may end in a big battle.

The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep Release Date

Development of the new anime began in 2021. The first teaser was released in 2023. Netflix plans to release the anime on February 11, 2025.

This will be the second anime in the franchise after the 2021 animation The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.

The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep Voice Actors

Geralt for the anime was voiced by Doug Cockle, the voice of the Witcher in the English versions of CD Projekt RED's games in the Witcher universe. The animated Jaskier will be voiced by Joey Batey, who plays the bard in the series.

A new character – the bard Essi Daven, nicknamed Little Eye, played by Christina Wren – will also play an important role in the plot. The sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg will also return – she will be voiced by the star of the original show Anya Chalotra.
