Special grade sorcerers are practically an anomaly, and we’ve seen only four of them (Gojo, Geto, Yuta and Yuki), and there’s no mystery about who’s the strongest of them (yes, Gojo, we’re talking about you). But Grade 1 sorcerers are a bit more interesting when it comes to power scaling.
Who Is the Strongest?
There are several sorcerers that have been confirmed to be Grade 1 in the manga: Nanami, Kusakabe, Mei Mei, Todo and Yaga. There’s also an idea that Yuji and Megumi might be first grades by now, but we haven’t gotten any official confirmation.
The source material states that Kusakabe is the strongest of them. He managed to fight Sukuna 1-on-1 after all, and even though it didn’t end well for him, he still did great.
But Jujutsu Kaisen fans would like to disagree. Kusakabe is definitely extremely powerful, and readers love and appreciate him, but there’s another Grade 1 sorcerer that they think is the strongest in the series now. And this is our man Todo.
Todo Is Truly Special
Straight from the first time Todo appeared in Jujutsu Kaisen, it was obvious that he was a big deal. You can feel danger even by looking at his ripped body, and it’s not a case of expectations not meeting reality — Todo is really powerful.
Then came a moment when we first saw Todo in a battle, and it only proved it further: there’s no one like him. His cursed technique allowed him to defeat a Special grade curse, he fought Hanami and Mahito with Yuji, and now it’s his time to join the Sukuna fight.
Although manga readers are a bit worried that Todo might not survive the final battle, they’re confident that he will show us even more power than before. Out of all the characters that are still alive in the series, Todo might be the most effective when it comes to assisting Yuji. Fans expect him to become the key player in the final fight.
We aren’t saying all this just because Todo is a fan favorite, it’s really obvious that he’s a force to be reckoned with. And we have a feeling that he’s about to prove it once again in one of the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen chapters.
