Shoya Chiba
Shoya Chiba has been doing voice acting since 2004, when he played the lead role in Curry No Kuni No Koba-ru, which was the prince of the Curry Kingdom. He had a rather long break in his career between 2004 and 2011, when he played a role in Shōwa Monogatari. Since 2015, he has been working as a voice actor quite often, and his works include Haikyuu!! Second Season, Classroom of the Elite, The Idolm@ster SideM, Banana Fish, Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, and many other titles.
His long break in voice acting can be explained by the fact that in 2004, he was less than ten years old. In other words, Shoya Chiba has been in the voice acting business literally since childhood. As a result, he is very experienced despite his quite young age (he is 28 at the time of writing). In Wind Breaker, the actor will voice Akikiko Nirei.
Wind Breaker
The story of Wind Breaker is about Haruka Sakura (voiced by Yuma Uchida) who wants to fight his way to the top of his high school, which is known for students who would rather fight than study. The school members are actually there to help the town and defend it from anyone who might attack it, but Haruka Sakura does not care much about such noble things; he just wants to fight.
Fans are happy to see Shoya Chiba on the list of voice actors, but they seem to be concerned about the title of the anime. In English, some unfortunate jokes might be associated with it. Then again, the anime does not have to be very serious, so it could have been done on purpose.
