Have you ever dreamed of petting a tiger? Or maybe talking to a dragon? If yes, then the main protagonist of Fluffy Paradise (Isekai de Mofumofu Nadenade suru Tame ni Ganbattemasu) is living your dream.
The series follows Akitsu, who dies of overwork and gets reincarnated in a fantasy world into the body of a little girl with a peculiar ability. Neema, the said girl, is loved by all non-human beings. That means she can pet all the adorable animals she sees on her way for as much as she wants to!
The most wholesome anime?
The first two episodes of Fluffy Paradise are already here, and fans can’t stop talking about how absolutely cute the anime is. Neema is the sweetest little girl, and all the animals look so fluffy that you can’t help but envy the girl petting them just a little bit.
The beginning of the series is super sweet and wholesome. It’s a type of a series that you watch when you want to relax. However, there are signs that the story won’t stay so relaxing forever. And, to be honest, we’re scared of that.
There are a couple of sinister clues
When Akitsu died, she met a God, who gave her adorable power. But there was just one worrisome thing. The god said that Akitsu’s lifespan cannot be increased, which means that when the girl turns 27 (the age at which she died), her life will be over again.
It’s still too early to worry about that because Neema is just three years old, but it gives the series the opportunity for a cruel time skip where we’ll experience the girl’s death for the second time.
Besides, the opening theme is the biggest clue that something is meant to go wrong in the future. Juxtaposed to some wholesome and delightful moments, there are scenes of wounded creatures and even blood.
On top of that, there are a couple of fights in the opening as well, which means there will be conflicts. Episode 2 has already introduced some hints at a political conflict of the series.
They might be connected to currently unknown creatures that we can also see in the opening. They appear to be animals capable of turning into people, and we don’t really know if they’re going to be the good guys. They’ll have to like Neema, that’s for sure, but what is their role in the main conflict of the story?
Of course, we just have to wait and see how events will transpire, but the suspense is killing us. Fluffy Paradise is so adorable for now that no matter how many sweets you eat, this anime is still the sweetest thing in your life. We guess we just have to enjoy the peace while it lasts and try to get ready for what’s about to come,
