Ishura is an upcoming action fantasy anime based on a light novel series written by Keiso and a manga adaptation of the series that began serialization in Kodansha's Monthly Shounen Magazine in 2021.
Ishura is produced by Passione and Sanzigen, and even though you may have never heard of these studios, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be excited for the upcoming series. Such anime voice acting giants as Yuki Kaji (Eren – Attack on Titan), Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch – Code Geass) and Akio Otsuka (All for One – Boku no Hero Academia) are among the cast of Ishura, so we can absolutely be sure that the anime is going to sound incredible.

The world’s enemy, the demon king, is dead. No one knows the name of a hero that defeated the one who brought fear to every being on earth, or even if the said hero still exists. With the “power vacuum” created by the king’s death, there are several demigods that inherited the world. The battle begins, and the winner will have the right to call themselves the mightiest of the mighty.
Those who have experienced Ishura’s story in the novels or in the manga adaptation, promise a sort of a battle royale. The series is not going to have one real protagonist, it’ll be more like Game of Thrones, where all sides are shown and it’s up to you, who you’d like to root for. Ishura is packed with international political conflicts, intense fighting and drama, and that’s all we could dream of.
