Let's Get Hyped for Spy x Family Season 2

The second season is right around the corner and we can't wait to watch it.

Spy x Family explores a story of Loid Forger, an intelligence agent forced to work with a charming young telepath Anya and an elegant skillful assassin Yor, who play the roles of his daughter and wife, in order to accomplish his mission. The first season aired back in 2022, and now that we're especially close to the second season, it's time to get hyped for the sequel of our beloved spy story, packed with hilarious action and cute endearing moments.

Season 2 is going to air on October 7th, and for now we've got a trailer and an opening to keep us entertained while we're waiting. So let's take a quick look at the little information we have and speculate a little bit.

Loid and Yor's relationship has always been fascinating to watch. The two started as a couple of strangers pretending to be an actual couple, and now it looks like their "marriage" is going to take a new turn. The trailer starts with Loid suggesting Yor having a date, and even though it all might be just a part of the agent's plan to advance his mission, fans can't help feeling excited to see these two interact.

It looks like the pretend family is about to encounter more obstacles on their way, as we can see a mysterious group of assassins in the trailer. The main trio is not scared, though. They all look ready for the mission, and Anya is as eager to have fun and be with her "mom and dad" as always. And we're sure that Loid saying that he doesn't understand neither children nor women will add even more humor to the series, and introduce charmingly hilarious moments to the show. The trailer ends with Yor doubting her assassin job, which also promises significant character development for the woman.

The opening looks stunning, and fans seem quite excited by the fact that it is directed by Masaaki Yuasa, who's known for also directing such series as Devilman Crybaby, Super Shiro, Ping Pong the Animation, Kaiba and many more.

The opening theme "Kura Kura" by the Japanese singer Ado also adds to the fans' excitement.

Both the trailer and the opening embody everything we love about Spy x Family, which is clever humor, charming characters and their touching interactions, mysterious adventure and stunning artstyle. The series will come back to our screens very soon, and we could not be more excited!
