Will it really adapt only one chapter?
Minor spoilers for the upcoming episode!
Summary:
- Solo Leveling Episode 8 will adapt Chapter 28 of the manhwa.
- There have been image leaks of the episode.
- There will be a lot of anime-only content.
The wait is almost over, and Episode 8 of Solo Leveling (Ore dake Level Up na Ken) is coming out on March 2 after a week delay. And fans can’t hide their excitement.
What will the episode be about?
Apparently, the upcoming episode will adapt Chapter 28 of the manhwa, and readers were surprised to learn it at first, since it usually takes at least a couple of chapters to fill an episode with content.
On top of that, the chapter is rather uneventful, since it’s basically Jinwoo meeting his fellow hunters, who were with him during their unfortunate mission in the first two episodes of the series.
Chapter 28 is a somewhat exposition for everything that’s about to happen next, and it ends with the newly formed team getting ready to go to a dungeon. Fans think it would be poetic to end Episode 8 with the line “Into the dungeon we go” and hype the viewers up for Episode 9 this way.
Still, there isn’t enough content in this chapter for one whole episode, that’s why the most obvious thing is that the episode will have anime original content, and this is more than exciting.
Episode 8 leaks
Along with a couple of official previews for the episode, there have been some leaks. And the most interesting thing is that we can see Cha Hae-In in one of them.
Fans have previously mentioned that she got introduced in the anime earlier than in the manhwa, and they’re even more curious now that they’ve found out she’s about to appear in Episode 8.
Lee Joohee is also there, but it’s less surprising, since she does make an appearance in Chapter 28, but fans are still very hyped by the way she looks.
Original content
The upcoming episode seems to be full of new original content, and both the previews and the leaks prove that. And manhwa readers are more than excited. We’ve previously discussed how the next episode will have visuals that we haven’t seen yet, and viewers can’t wait to finally experience everything.
Fans have also noticed that judging by the new previews the visuals of Solo Leveling are improving, and this all makes the upcoming fights even more exciting.
All of the changes and bits of anime-only content have been praised by the fans so far, so they believe that A-1 Pictures know what they’re doing. If they feel like more original stuff is needed in the episode, we’re here for it.
