His parents abandoned him when he was very young, which led to him being quite asocial. He is a taxi driver, and his job allows him to meet a number of unique individuals. Hiroshi’s life feels normal until one day a murder mystery leads the police to him.

But everything changes when Okabe decides to attend a time travel convention and finds out that he’s capable of sending messages into the past.
